Ever since the Department of English Studies was established, many other colleagues have served as members of its academic community and have honoured it with their work. Some of them are now working at other Universities (Efterpi Mitsi, Georgios Karanasios, Amalia Arvaniti, Peter Stephan, Dionysis Goutsos, Anna Roussou, Richard Stibbard, Photini Coutsougera, Dina Tsaggari, Karen Emmerich) and some have retired (Jim Davy, Joanna Montgomery-Byles, Stephanos Stephanides). Some have passed away and will be dearly missed: They are Nephie Christodoulides, Pavlos Pavlou, and Andreas Papapavlou.
